By installing or using UAIE for Microsoft Word ("UAIE", "the Add-in"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Add-in.
Fiza Pathan Publishing (OPC) Private Limited grants you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to install and use UAIE for Microsoft Word on devices licensed to you or your institution, for the purposes of accessibility, teaching, learning, and lawful document preparation. Free use is offered as a commercial grant at the company's sole discretion and is revocable at any time. Institutional, white-label, and premium licences are available — please write to fizapathan@fizapathanpublishing.com for terms.
UAIE™, including the Universal Adaptive Interface Engine name, the seven-feature design, the UAIE Sign™ 72-gesture educational sign system, the six-level Plain Language schema, the Accessibility Audit rules, and all source code, are the intellectual property of Fiza Pathan Publishing (OPC) Private Limited (UAIE™ invented by Fiza Pathan). Patent applied. Trademark applications pending. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works without written permission.
You agree not to use UAIE in any way that is unlawful, infringes on the rights of others, or attempts to circumvent accessibility safeguards for the purpose of denying accessibility to any person.
UAIE is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, the Plain Language and Braille outputs are automated and should be reviewed by a qualified educator before publication. The Accessibility Audit is a guide and does not constitute a legal accessibility certification.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fiza Pathan Publishing (OPC) Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use UAIE. Your sole remedy is to stop using the Add-in.
UAIE runs inside Microsoft's Office Add-in framework. Microsoft's terms apply to the Office application. For Plain Language L3-L6, requests are made directly from your browser to Anthropic's API using your own API key, and Anthropic's terms apply to that traffic. UAIE does not intermediate these requests.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, India. Users outside India are welcome to use UAIE under these Terms as written.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be dated at the top of this page and announced in the Add-in.
